The Jetsetter

The Jetsetter is a text-based playable story that places you in the mind and control of Michael—a thirty something year old who is renewing his passport while battling with memories of past love and travel.

Being a Jetsetter means you are a person who loves to travel and does so frequently—this is the most appropriate description Michael and his former love Julie. When it came to travel, this is something that they always did together. Their wanderlust is something that brought them closer together as a couple and allowed them to explore the world while strengthening their relationship with one another. The Jetsetter begins with Michael waiting in line to renew his passport. While it may seem like a regular procedure for the majority of people, as Michael and Julie have recently broken up, this is the first step for him to get a renewed perspective on life. The last time Michael was getting his passport renewed was with Julie. Being in the passport office is sending a surge of memories to his mind and effecting his decision of whether or not he wants to go through with it. For Michael, renewing his passport would not only allow him to continue traveling but more importantly—accept that life is moving on and he must too.
